The first weekend in May, Lucy made her first visit to Sea World with my mom. My mom's good friend also went with them, she is fondly known as Aunt Debbie (she is in the picture with Lucy). She loved Shamu. Aunt Debbie purchased a Shamu for Lucy. My mom tried in vane to get Lucy to wear this adorable hat she got to coordinate with her outfit to keep her from getting sunburned. Aunt Debbie stepped in and offered to buy Lucy a hat (please see attached photo), only if she promised to wear it. The felt hat was definitely not appropriate for the 95 degree San Antonio weather. With sweat pouring down her face, Lucy toughed it out. She apparently was the only one in the park that had it on and got many looks from other patrons. We are planning to take her again at the end of this month, although I think the hat will stay home...
