The girls, my mother-in-law and myself recently made the trip to Disneyworld. Believe it or not you can survive going there with a four-year-old and one-year-old. Anna's favorite attraction was definitely "It's a small world." She let out constant gleeful noises during the ride. Lucy enjoyed the "Pooh Ride", which we rode 3-4 times. Though Anna was scared of the people that were dressed as the characters, Lucy enjoyed her meals with Mickey and Pooh. We look forward to our next trip, maybe then I can ride the Haunted Mansion (my favorite).

For the skeptics

Here is a picture of Anna and Lucy at the same age. Some have said they do not look alike, but I think they do...

Some new pictures from the past couple of weeks

Lucy and Anna had a make shift picnic on the kitchen floor. Lucy prepared the meal, but she still needs to work on her manners (she does not know that it is not good manners to take a call when you are at lunch with someone).

Lucy and Anna played "princess" the other day. This is a big leap for Lucy who tells me "I do not like princesses, I just like cars, Mommy."

Storytime

Two nights ago Anna had her first bath in the big bath with Lucy.  They were both thrilled.  Lucy loved having a playmate in the bath and Anna loved having an abundance of bath toys floating around to put in her mouth.  Needless to say there were a lot of splashes, giggles and squeals,  After the bath and pajamas were on, Lucy wanted to read to Anna.  It was a sweet moment and one of the first times that Lucy allowed me to get more than one photo of the two of them together.  They are both growing up so fast that I can hardly wrap my mind around it sometimes.  I am working on getting video footage of storytime up, but blogger has yet to be cooperative...keep an eye out.

YUM!

Here is a clip of Anna's first meal.

PS-Just so you know, you can hear Lucy is acting out Lightning McQueen getting stuck in the cactus patch (from the movie "Cars")
